(3) J. J. Beals & Co., Boston, Mass., steeple shelf clock with a spring driven, 8 day, time and strike movement (J. C. Brown, Forestville, Conn) in a mahogany veneered case, c1850. (4) Jerome & Co., New Haven, Conn steeple shelf clock (case only) c1860. (5) Brewster & Ingrahams, Bristol, Conn. steeple shelf clock with a (brass) spring driven 30 hour time and strike movement in a mahogany veneered case, c1850. (6) German mini steeple shelf clock with a 30 hour time and alarm movement in a veneered case, c1870.
CONDITION: (1) The case has veneer loss on the sides, The original dial is in good conditions with several minor stains. The hands are oriiginal. The door glasses are both original; (2) The case has substantial veneer loss. The original painted dial is in good condition. The hands are original. The door glasses are both original. (3) The case has veneer loss and lifting. The original painted dial has darkened with age. The hands are period and appear original. (4) The case has lost much of its veneer (5) The case has veneer loss. The original painted dial has some paint loss. The hands are original.as are the door glasses. (6) The case is in very nice condition.The original painted dial has minor paint loss. The hands are original. The label is excellent. The door glasses are both original. ***NOTE*** The demensions are for clock number 1
